fTLD Registry Services is now the sole, remaining applicant for the .insurance gTLD after the Financial Services Roundtable (FSR) prevailed in its community objection to Dotfresh’s application for .insurance. The International Chamber of Commerce, ICANN’s selected dispute resolution service provider, found in favor of FSR and the decision is available here. As reported on January 15, 2014, the other applicant for .insurance, Auburn Park, LLC, was eliminated from consideration when FSR prevailed in its community objection to their application. With the news of these objection results, fTLD could begin offering domain names in .insurance later this year.
