fTLD Registry Services is the sole, remaining applicant for the .bank gTLD after the International Banking Federation (IBFed) prevailed in its community objection to Dotsecure’s application for .bank. The International Chamber of Commerce, ICANN’s selected dispute resolution service provider, found in favor of the IBFed and the decision is available here. With this news, fTLD could begin offering domain names in .bank in the latter part of 2014.
