fTLD’s Operating Manager recently approved a revision to the use restriction applicable to Service Providers that removes the prohibition on using a .BANK/.INSURANCE domain name for marketing purposes. The use restriction specified in the Implementation Guidelines annexed to the Registrant Eligibility Policies for .BANK and .INSURANCE, accessible at https://www.register.bank/policies and https://www.register.insurance/policies respectively, has been updated to reflect this change.
